Corrections and Adjustments
Summary
Confirmed correction mechanisms are resaving a daily outcome, rejection, approval recalculation, and reasoned reopening.
Audience
Employees, managers, HR and attendance administrators, payroll administrators, analysts, and QA engineers.
Confirmed and unresolved behavior
A daily save updates the one result for an employee and date. Approval recalculates canonical values. Rejection clears a pending outcome so a later result can be supplied. A reopen request proposes status, work hours, and overtime; approval recalculates and applies an approved outcome unless Payroll has locked the period. Audit activity is recorded for save, submit, approve, reject, and reopen decisions.
A missing punch is not automatically corrected. Editing or deleting punch history, supplying a missing punch, adjusting multiple punch intervals, mandatory correction evidence, separate manual-adjustment approval, correction deadlines, and post-payroll remediation are Requires confirmation. Reopening changes attendance, not the punch record.
