Overview​

How are Leave days calculated?
The inclusive date range is used by default. A resolved policy may exclude configured holidays and weekly offs; a one-effective-day request can be half day.

Why was a request rejected?
A reason is mandatory for a rejection. The recorded reason is visible in confirmed request details.

Can approved Leave be cancelled?
The domain supports it and reverses prior used balance, subject to authorized scope. Post-Payroll governance requires confirmation.

What happens to balance after approval?
Used units increase. Rejection has no usage effect; cancellation of approved Leave reverses usage.

Are holidays and weekly offs counted?
Yes by default. They are excluded only when the resolved policy enables the corresponding exclusion.

Can an employee request Leave without balance?
Yes in current behavior: balance sufficiency is not enforced. Tenant policy intent requires confirmation.

How does Leave interact with Attendance?
Leave checks conflicting Attendance; compatibility Attendance blocks marking and displays approved Leave. Extracted-service synchronization is Transitional.

When does Payroll receive changes?
Legacy Payroll reads approved Leave. Event timing and extracted consumer behavior require confirmation.

How do carry forward and encashment work?
Both are foundations only; no end-to-end processing workflow is implemented.

Can HR correct a balance?
A direct maintenance capability exists, but authorization, approval, and correction governance require confirmation.
