Leave Holidays

Summary

A Holiday is a tenant-scoped named date with a paid/unpaid type used by Leave calculation and workforce processing.

Concepts

Holiday fields are name, date, tenant, and free-text type with confirmed Paid/Unpaid meaning. No active flag, optional/restricted holiday behavior, employee eligibility, country, region, or calendar assignment exists in reviewed evidence.

When a Leave policy excludes holidays, every configured holiday date in the request range is removed from Leave-day count. Paid/unpaid Holiday type does not change that Leave calculation exclusion. Payroll compatibility excludes unpaid holidays from paid-holiday treatment. Holiday configuration is shared through compatibility surfaces and Attendance UI usage, so final service ownership is Transitional.
