Leave Day Calculation

Summary​

Leave days are calculated from an inclusive requested date range, with policy-controlled calendar exclusions.

Employees, Leave/HR/Payroll administrators, analysts, product owners, QA, and implementers.

Overview​

Without exclusion rules, the calculator counts every calendar date inclusively. Holiday and weekly-off exclusions are opt-in policy behavior. Half day applies only when the effective count is one day. The Leave type's half-day eligibility flag is not checked by the confirmed workflow. No rounding, hours conversion, regional calendar, or unapproved numeric threshold is documented.
