Payroll resolves an Open month/year period, calculates a reusable run, supports review, freezes stable results, and can unfreeze for correction. Freeze applies recoveries; unfreeze reverses unreversed run recoveries. Approved, Finalized, Paid, and Closed transitions are not confirmed.
