Performance Calibration

Summary

Calibration is implemented as the HR review stage and a current-state queue for manager-reviewed appraisals.

Audience

HR administrators, managers, employees, product owners, implementation partners, engineering, QA, support, architecture, and security reviewers as applicable.

Overview

HR may supply a recalibrated overall result or retain the manager rollup. The admin UI exposes an HR review action, and reporting identifies the pending HR queue.

Confirmed business behavior

HR review records an immutable stage review and moves the appraisal to HR Reviewed. No separate calibration session, panel membership, moderation notes, quota, or batch adjustment model exists.

Business rules

Direct HR review requires Manager Reviewed and is blocked for Workflow-managed appraisals. Approval follows HR review.

Maturity

The capability is Transitional because canonical staged behavior coexists with compatibility behavior and incomplete authorization governance.

Requires confirmation

Calibration ownership, access, panel governance, evidence visibility, and separation of reviewer and approver require confirmation.
