Employee Self Assessment

Summary

The canonical flow records goal-level employee assessment and one Self review record.

Audience

HR administrators, managers, employees, product owners, implementation partners, engineering, QA, support, architecture, and security reviewers as applicable.

Overview

The Employee self-service surface lists the employee's Performance data. The source does not confirm a dedicated self-submission form in the current ESS page; canonical submission is implemented in the service.

Confirmed business behavior

Self submission applies supplied goal assessments, records comments and reviewer identity when available, creates a Self stage history record, and advances the appraisal. It can also start Workflow approval.

Business rules

The appraisal must be Draft or Reopened and contain at least one goal. Employee identity defaults from tenant user context when creating an appraisal. Ownership enforcement at endpoints requires confirmation.

Maturity

The capability is Transitional because canonical staged behavior coexists with compatibility behavior and incomplete authorization governance.

Requires confirmation

Formal ownership, permission scope, operating policy, and approval governance require confirmation.
