Performance Ratings
Summary
Performance uses bounded numeric self, manager, review, and overall ratings without publishing individual values in this documentation.
Audience
HR administrators, managers, employees, product owners, implementation partners, engineering, QA, support, architecture, and security reviewers as applicable.
Overview
Self ratings are averaged for self-review context. Manager ratings are rolled up using goal weightage, with an average fallback when total weight is absent. HR can retain or recalibrate the overall result.
Confirmed business behavior
The model tracks goal-level self and manager assessments, stage-level overall assessments, and one appraisal overall result. Reports aggregate rated appraisals into distribution buckets.
Business rules
Inputs are normalized to the supported scale rather than rejected. Finalization occurs on approval. No configurable rating-scale catalog, labels, forced distribution, or normalization policy is implemented.
Maturity
The capability is Transitional because canonical staged behavior coexists with compatibility behavior and incomplete authorization governance.
Requires confirmation
Rating interpretation, disclosure timing, appeal policy, rounding governance, and confidentiality controls require confirmation.
